My mom and dad came over last night to keep the kids so that Bryan and I could go eat dinner and get out of the house for a little bit.  While we were actually showered and dressed, we decided to take some family pictures of the four of us!

Everything is going great around our house!  Will is adjusting to having Sadie around and is so sweet with her.  He kisses her on the head, pats her, and checks on her throughout the day.  I will admit that it is hard sometimes to split our time between the two of them.  I find myself worrying that I am spending too much time with Sadie and then when I am with Will I feel bad that Sadie is not getting attention.  I know there is a balance and we are working on it daily.  I am feeling better and better everyday.  I am getting my strength back and healing wonderfully!  Thank goodness the swelling is going down in my legs and feet.  Honestly, the swelling has been the worst part.  It also feels pretty good to be wearing my normal clothes again.  I am not getting "dressed" everyday but I can wear my regular lounge clothes again comfortably.   Sadie is doing great!  She loves to eat and is eating pretty regularly every 3 to 4 h...

Sadie Jane was born on January 14, 2014 at 9:04 pm.  She weighed 7 lbs 7 ozs and was 19.5 inches long.  She is absolutely perfect and has a head full of dark hair! My water broke around 4 am Tuesday morning and we headed to the hospital.  They admitted us into a room and continued to monitor my contractions.  They continued to progress, I received an epidural, but then things began to slow down.  The doctor recommended a c-section which was fine with Bryan and I.  This picture is one of my favorites because it was in the recovery room right after the procedure. This is her first picture with her eyes open and look at that hair! I recovered just fine, sore but good so we headed home Thursday afternoon.  Sadie Jane also checked out good with no problems. My friend Ashley surprised me today at work with a dozen of "baby girl pink" doughnuts for my last day at work.  So sweet and so good!  Perfect for a pregnant lady!

My due date is right around the corner and Sadie is getting ready!  I had a doctor's appointment today and she has a good heart rate and is a growing like crazy.  I have not started dilating yet but everything looks good.  We are just patiently waiting for her arrival.  Tomorrow is my last day of work because of some swelling that I have in my feet and legs.  My blood pressure is good though so it is just pregnancy swelling.  I am just really tired from working too so I am ready to get a little rest before she gets here (hopefully)! My official due date is January 20 and the doctor said today that he won't let me go more than one week over.  That's good to know but I still hope she gets here a little bit sooner on her own.
